After enjoying the open-air river cenote, we'll make our way to a different type of cenote: a breathtaking cave, also known as an "underground river." We'll embark on a one-hour journey through this stunning underground world, winding our way through the cavernous passageways lined with stalagmites and stalactites. To help us navigate this rugged terrain, water shoes and flashlights will be provided. Along the way, our guide will share fascinating information about the history and geology of these caves, as well as the unique plant and animal life that can be found within them. After completing our journey through the underground river cenote, we'll take a break to enjoy a small home-made snack and cold drinks in the heart of the cave. After a morning of exploring the breathtaking cenotes, it will be time to head back to your hotel. We'll depart from the site around 1:30 pm and make our way back, providing comfortable transportation for the return journey.
