About the Cenote tour
Experience the beauty and wonder of the cenotes, a unique feature of the Yucatan Peninsula, on this full-day excursion just for you. The cenotes, or natural sinkholes filled with water, come in two varieties: open cenotes and closed cenotes. The open cenotes are essentially rivers or natural swimming pools that can be several dozen meters deep, while the closed cenotes are caves with underground rivers that are filled with stunning stalactites and stalagmites.
On this trip, you'll have the opportunity to explore two cenotes that are off the beaten path, one open and one underground river. Our certified guide will lead you on this journey through the Mayan underworld, where you'll be able to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and history of these ancient sinkholes.

Two cenotes very interesting to visit. The first one we went to was open to the air and looks like a river inside the mangrove. The second was a cave with a lot of stalactite, very impressive.
